After years of years-long desire to make a private bird hut, this dream comes true. We were given permission to place a hut in a sheltered forest. Below the making of.
First of all, we made a drawing for an optimal bird hide. I think we have succeeded in this. Of course, we immediately started making the bird hide but forgot to take the first pictures. We start here with digging the poles.
We had to drag this with a couple of men into the woods to start digging the poles. Of course, they were first paint.
Plate for a plate is placed so that (hopefully) the bird hide is placed level. All parts are actually already pre-compartmentalised as if it were a building box.
In the end, we left the hut behind. We would finish the hut a week later and of course, we are going to place sticks and start feeding too.
This is what the hut looks like. Fully camouflaged. The view is as follows.
Adjustment to the previously placed water basin.
On our first day after making some changes, we counted no less than 13 different bird species. Meanwhile a few weeks later we have already seen 29 different species of birds and a few mice and some squirrels.
Photos will be placed regularly in the album UHR. These are all made from the Bird Hide.
